Here at Courtesy Point, we use Odoo in our day-to-day operations. We will tell you our most favorite Odoo apps and why we love them.
Point of Sale
Odoo's Point of Sale app is the perfect solution for running your brick and mortar store. Whether you're in the Retail, Food & Beverage, or Service industry, Odoo's Point of Sale has you covered. The POS app can: take orders, generate bills and print receipts, manage your menu, track your inventory, gain insights into sales trends and customer preferences, manage your tables, and send orders directly to the kitchen.
We have customized Odoo's Point of Sale to fit the Philippine market. We call our custom POS app, Presto POS. Presto can do everything that the Odoo POS app can do plus so much more: government discounts, BIR-required reports, audit reports, internal notes, customer notes, day open and day close procedures, and many more.
Why we love Presto POS:
- Unlike most POS in the market, Presto is BIR-accredited. It can print official receipts!
- Philippine government discounts like: PWD, Senior Citizen, Single Parent, and National Coaches and Athletes can all be handled by Presto POS. It even has a dedicated report for each kind of government discount.
- BIR required reports like: X-Reading, Z-Reading, Electronic Journal, and many more.
Accounting
The Odoo Accounting app is a very powerful accounting software with a wide range of useful features like: automatic invoice drafting, multi-currency support, online customer portal, automated follow-up system for bills, integration with local banks for bank-statement-downloading, analytic accounting, asset management capabilities, and simplified expense and revenue recognition.
Why we love Odoo Accounting:
- Odoo's Smart Bank Reconciliation and local bank integration are our favorite features. These features go hand-in-hand in making bank reconciliation hassle free. Odoo automatically downloads our bank statements from the bank's online banking website. Once the statements are updated, Odoo makes smart suggestions on what transactions reconcile with which bank statement lines.
- Our managers love Odoo's analytic accounting feature. It allows us to analyze the profitability of: a project, a product, a company event and more just by adding analytic tags to the entries.
Sales
With Odoo Sales, you can create stunning, interactive quotes in seconds. Save time doing repetitive quotations by using its Quotation Template feature. Odoo Sales also encourages you to cross-sell by including your optional products in your quotations. Eliminate tedious paperwork with online-payment-support and close deals faster using e-signatures.
Why we love Odoo Sales:
- Odoo allows us to send emails directly from within the app. Our salespersons do not need to switch to their other email clients like Outlook or Gmail after building their quotations. They just send the quotation immediately from Odoo.
- Our salespersons are always encouraged to sell more. With Odoo's optional products feature, cross selling is made easy by displaying related products in our quotations.
- If you also enabled the Odoo Website Builder like we did, you can create beautiful web-based quotations and let your prospects view them from your website. Here at Courtesy Point, our website can do more than just introduce our company to visitors; it also acts as a portal for our customers to view their Quotations and Sales Orders.
Email Marketing
Odoo Email Marketing makes crafting professional emails a breeze. This user-friendly tool lets anyone create impactful campaigns that reach the right audience at the perfect moment, even without tech expertise. Design stunning emails with complete control over content and layout, all within an intuitive interface.
Why we love Odoo Email Marketing:
- Odoo's Email Marketing has a Blocks feature that allows you to click and drag predefined design elements like Banners, Feature Panels, Image Galleries into your emails without needing to know HTML or CSS. Blocks allow our marketing guys to focus on copy writing and designing instead of coding.
- Free stock photos! Odoo gives you access to thousands of royalty-free stock photos that you can use in your emails.
Inventory
Tired of outdated inventory systems? Odoo's Inventory brings real-time visibility, eliminates stockouts, and streamlines your operations.
